Now it seems that same code is doing unwanted conversions before the paths make it down to the lower level APIs. But that only ended up being a partial solution, the result being that some APIs never worked properly until file system support was added. I use colors to organize certain types of documents, and now I can find those documents within HoudahSpot.Īnother new capability in the 2.3 series is BlitzSearch, which is a menu that drops down from the main menu bar, and can be activated from anywhere via a user-defined global hot key (as long as you have the HoudahSpot icon in the main menu bar).
